Patrick left today for his job training in Virginia. He'll probably be gone until Friday ~ although if he can test out, he'll be back Tuesday or Wednesday night. THen he can start working, and eventually we'll have a regualr paycheck. That will be SO nice finally!
We're starting our new school schedule today. The kids have just started World history and we're having fun with it. Sprite is reading Oliver Twist, and I'm reading "the Princess and the Goblin to the other kids. Kainan and Jaedin take turns reading out loud from Lancelot. Paris is enjoying that story too. Abyni is doing preschool workbooks as well. She reminds me so much of Sprite. She loves to do her school while the other kids are doing theirs as well. She actually wrote her name for the first time the day before Thanksgiving! WHoo Hoo!
The kids are all doing a lot of copy work about their favorite things this year. Favorite places we've been, favorite movies, activities, campgrounds, tourity-things, etc. Its been fun to go through everything from the past year ~ we've done a LOT!
I'm updating our scrap book finally. We have so many photos I need to print off, but I keep running out of ink! Ack. It was much easier when I just did it on the computer!
Anyway ~ off to start the day! (I'm on page 165 on the kids' book! Ahead of my schedule!)
